With her photo series from Kenya, "A Football Made of Plastic, Cloth and a Stone", Andrea Kuenzig has won 2nd prize in the category Photo Series. For more than 10 years, Kuenzig has been taking photographs in Kenya for the GEO project "Basic Needs: How Does a Child Live in Africa?". In May 2010, photos from the competition will be on show at the KunstLeben gallery in Hamburg. The theme of the competition, Dokfünf FOTOWETTBEWERB 2010, was: "Football: Focus on the Background".

The vernissage and award ceremony will take place on 01.06.2010 in the gallery.
