'They stand out in the dark, illuminated flower pieces photographed by Irina Ruppert. These images serve as symbols of life...' writes Martin Roman Deppner about the work 'Blumenstück' ('Flower Piece') by laif photographer Irina Ruppert. Ruppert began her work photographing flowers at a time when she was mourning the death of her father.

From 21 January, 2012, to 26 February, 2012, the works will be on show at the Wassermühle Trittau, 30 km east of Hamburg. The vernissage will take place on 21 January at 4 pm.
