While a student at the Folkwang University in Essen, laif photographer Wolfgang Volz met the artist duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude and soon became the exclusive photographer of their spectacular installations.

Legendary projects such as 'Surrounded Islands' (Miami Beach), 'Wrapped Pont Neuf' (Paris), 'Wrapped Trees' (Beyeler Foundation), 'The Gates' (New York) or Berlin's wrapped Reichstag in 1995 were accompanied and documented by Wolfgang Volz at all stages of their development. Now the Blaeser Gallery in Duesseldorf will be showing his works until July 2, 2011. It is the first show of its kind in Duesseldorf since 1995.

The vernissage takes place on 14th May 2011 from 12 pm to 5 pm. Wolfgang Volz will be present.
