'Cologne' by Manfred Linke and other laif photographers

'This photo book is a visual stroll through Cologne and presents a dynamic portrait of the city on the Rhine. Locals will see familiar old features through fresh eyes and are certain to discover one or two things they didn't know about their city. Those not from Cologne will see a city of kaleidoscopic diversity! Experience a Cologne both ancient and modern, full of vitality and urban strength. The images are accompanied by captions and a chronology of the city in German, English, French and Spanish.' - Kiwi

Most of the more than 240 images were shot by laif photographers. Concept and realization: Manfred Linke. Linke, born 1954, is a photographer, author and producer of various photo calendars and photo books (such as 'Köln. Ein Rheinischer Planet'). He plans and organizes exhibitions and media projects (including the 'Internationale Photoszene Köln'). He is also one of the founding members of laif and a winner of the World Press Awards.
