wangenrot
From October 18 to 24, 2005, the Kunsthaus Hamburg will be showing the exhibition »wangenrot« a charity project for the Annemarie Dose Foundation in support of the Hamburger Tafel, which collects surplus groceries and distributes them to social institutions to feed those in need. In thanks for, and recognition of, the work of the foundation and its 100 volunteers, 74 Hamburg-based photographers have joined together under the patronage of F. C. Gundlach to donate photographs under the heading »wangenrot« (red cheeks). The idea came from Hamburg Agency Rapp Collins, which for many years has been closely associated with the »Tafel« and Annemarie Dose and a trusted partner. Art Director Olaf Berens designed the »wangenrot« project and, together with Carmen Koltermann, is currently coordinating the exhibition at the Kunsthaus.
