Since 1999 a tram has been running in the German city of Bielefeld decorated with photographs by Veit Mette. The pictures present the life of disabled people in Bielefeld. The project was produced by the v. Bodelschwinghschen Anstalten Bethel and Bielefeld's public services. The tram's photo decoration was designed by Claudia Grotefendt. The tram won a prize in the Plakat Gran Prix 2000. On 10th November, 2010, the tram's other side was decorated with new photos.

On 11th November an exhibition of the photographs opened in the pub Nichtschwimmer in Bielefeld. The title of the exhibition is: "Drinnen ist wie Draussen nur anders" ("Inside is like outside only different").
